"Thunder On The Island"

Clover Island's 2012 Summer Concert Series

Thunder on the Island 2012

This is a free concert for every Wednesday evening from 6pm-9pm, featuring local bands and offer food for sale, as well as a beer and wine garden. Thunder will begin June 13 and the last one will be August 15.

June 2 - Corvettes on the Columbia

Comedian Brad Upton and Groove City the band will be Saturday June 2, 2012. We are partnering with McCurley Chevrolet and Make a Wish Foundation to raise money to Make a Wish foundation. Our goal is to Grant 4 Wishes that night. Comedy will be about 5:00pm followed by Groove City. Tickets are $15 each and Tables of 10 for $175. 21 and over.


June 3 - Hispanic Festival

Sunday afternoon with Latin music, Margarita Bar and Fun! Will include Bikini contests, Mr. Cool and Best Legs competition and Dancing!

Tommy Hogan Band is a dynamic, powerhouse blues, rock and louisianna style funk band.  A now mainstay Northwest band, fronted by American roots arist, Tommy Hogan. The south-west born and Northwest grown artist has dedicated his life to music.


Fallout - Waddido
July 4 - Fallout

Fallout is a band of experienced musicians from the Tri-Cities, Washington. They play a wide variety of rock and pop songs spanning four decades. From Bob Seger to Finger 11 (and everything in between), they've got you covered.


July 8 - Hispanic Music Festival

Will be held the first Sunday of each month. 2pm - 10pm!


Jim Basnight - Waddido
July 11 - Jim Basnight

Born in Seattle, the Jim Basnight Band has members with extensive and unique musical backgrounds. The band, fronted by Jim Basnight on vocals and guitars, performs songs from all six of Jim’s unique CD’s as well as his new career retrospective “We Rocked and Rolled: The First 25 Years of Jim Basnight”. They are well versed in a number of styles including Rock from the 50’s through the 90’s, as well as Soul, Punk, Funk, Americana, Alternative and the Blues.


 Vaughn Jensen - Waddido

The Vaughn Jensen Band one of the premier rhythm and blues bands in the Eastern Washington area, are known for their untamed, high energy brand of blues. Playing originals and not so traditional covers, guitarist and song writer Vaughn Jensen brings his harmony and chemistry and love of the blues to the front of the band.


July 22 - Sawyer Brown to Rock Clover Island!

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tables of 10 are $250.00. 21 and over.


Junkyard Jane - Waddido

Junkyard Jane is a Northwest "Swampabilly" blues band performing original music and consisting of: vocalist/percussionist Leanne Trevalyan, vocalist/guitarist Billy Stoops, bassist Barbra Blue and drummer Chris Leighton.

The band coined the term "Swampabilly" as their defining genre when forced to describe their sound; a gumbo of Americana, blues, country, folk, funk, rock, and swampy, New Orleans influenced music written by songwriters Trevalyan and Stoops.


Cody Beebe and the Crooks - Waddido

August 1 - Cody Beebe and the Crooks

Bound by their collective roots in Central Washington and Washington State University, Cody Beebe & The Crooks began performing together in February of 2009 in Seattle, WA.  The band spent the following subsequent three years exploring music together and discovering what CBC was to become. The band calls it Roots Rock; some radio gurus have dubbed it Progressive Americana, and others have said “Steve Earle meets Pink Floyd.”  Musically, strong elements of gritty blues, classic rock, country, and funk are obvious.  More subtle are the splashes of jazz, R&B, and metal.  


August 5 - Hispanic Music Festival

All ages.  2pm - 10pm. Join us on The Island for cervezas & margaritas, dancing to great Latin music and FUN! Events are open to the public, so bring your lawn chairs and sun screen and enjoy the FIESTA!


Dirty River Blues Band - Waddido

August 8 - Dirty River Blues Band

Started in January 2008, Dirty River Blues Band tries to keep the musicianship quality high and make it interesting for the regulars. The house band is Rusty McCarthy:guitar/vocals Ed  Young;drums, Lynne reville :keys/vocals warren reville:bass/vocals & Josh Norling: Sax/vocals
