The Waddido Martini

Sometimes you walk into a place and you get all excited because you see your name on something, right?  Don’t be embarrassed to admit it, I do too.  We feel good having our name on something, even if our name is common, but especially if its not.  Even if it’s on something small like a key chain or a pen, or some post-its.

Now imagine having a cocktail not only named AFTER you, but created FOR you as well. Of course I’m talking about the Waddido Martini!! Created by Trevor Blackwell, owner of Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar, and his staff...exclusively for the launch of our website, waddido.com!!!  This is kind of a big deal, right?  Considering that not even Justin Bieber has a cocktail named after him.  Well, at least not at Twigs.

There’s nothing like walking into the restaurant for dinner and having the General Manager approach you and ask, “Would you like to try YOUR martini?”  Then you go to sit down, and at there is a table tent on every table of the restaurant featuring and promoting your cocktail!  The cocktail which includes Hypnotiq citrus vodka, splash of Sierra mist and a float of blue curacao is not only fun to look at because of it’s vibrant color, but it’s definitely something everyone should try!

Gentleman, when taking your date to Twigs, make sure you order your lovely date a Waddido Martini.  Believe me, she will be impressed that you know of a delicious martini and she will thank you after she tries it. You can thank me later ;) Now I’d love to share the recipe and the measurements of this creation, but this wasn’t meant to drink at home.
