Dine N' Dish Review: Frost Me Sweet Dinner

Pomegranate Wings

I’m typically a fan of traditional wings. By this I mean I like my wings either crispy, breaded, and tasting like hot wings should. However, the Pomegranate Wings on the menu caught my attention. I figured, “what the heck. I’ll give these a try.” I am glad I did. These wings were excellent. They were perfectly crispy, but the pomegranate sauce was so unique and delicious, that I even asked for an extra side of the sauce so I could dip my wings.

Fresh Salad with Homemade Vinaigrette

This fresh green salad with homemade vinaigrette is simple and delicious. This salad consisted of fresh greens, a little fresh shaved Parmesan cheese, perfectly sized slices of tomatoes. This wasn’t a dainty salad by any means. There was almost enough there to make a small meal in itself.

The Big City

The Big City is an 8oz prime cut New York Steak on Frost Me Sweet’s menu. This was a delicious steak. You could order this steak at just about any temperature (rare through well) and it will still be tender and full of flavor. However, I would questions your judgement if you ever order a prime cut well done ;) The Big City comes with a dollop of a homemade blue cheese butter. The blue cheese butter was excellent because it had a subtle flavor that didn’t overpower the steak.

The Big City was served with some excellently flavored red potatoes and perfectly crisp asparagus. These two sides made this meal perfect. Especially the potatoes, they were truly delicious.

Stuffed Steak

Frost Me Sweet may give a few other restaurants in the Tri-Cities who serve steak a run for their money. The Stuffed Steak they offer is delicious. It is flank steak that is rolled and stuffed with fresh mozzarella, spinach, and garlic. How could steak be any better? This meal was tender and juicy and packed with flavor. The Stuffed Steak is also served with their awesome red potatoes and perfectly crisp asparagus.

During this visit, there wasn’t any room for dessert. I know that’s hard to believe, but I was truly stuffed. But as you know, Frost Me Sweet serves up some amazing desserts.

So, if you haven’t made it to Frost Me Sweet for anything other than a dessert, you need to. This is an awesome, local restaurant that puts a lot of love and care into their food. You will find flavors here that you will not find anywhere else in the Tri-Cities.
