Dine N' Dish Review: Bonefish Brunch

There have been quite a few restaurants in the Tri-Cities starting to serve breakfast or brunch. Bonefish in Richland is now one of those options. They are offering a light brunch menu for Sundays and most likely, Saturday as well.

Creme Brulee French Toast

The Creme Brulee French Toast was very delicious. It was made of 3 thick slices of French Bread, served with a mascarpone whipped cream, a little fresh mint, and some fresh strawberries. The French Toast itself is battered in a Grand Marnier and orange zest batter and gave the toast a light orange flavor. Also served with the French Toast are two thick cut slices of bacon that are packed full of flavor.

Now, if you’ve never had mascarpone whipped cream, it’s typically made with whipped cream, sugar, and mascarpone cheese. This made for a great topping for the French Toast that was light, and full of flavor.

If you’re looking for a tasty meal for breakfast that won’t leave you feeling overly stuffed, the French Toast is perfect.

Smoked Salmon on Toasted Bagel Thins

I don’t remember if I’ve ever had smoked salmon on a bagel. But if I can’t remember, that means it wasn’t worth remembering. With that being said, this was a delicious meal for breakfast. The salmon was thinly sliced and smoked lightly so it wasn’t overpowering the dish.

The Smoked Salmon is served with a creamy dill cream cheese that really complimented the salmon. Also, served with the Smoked Salmon were Potatoes Au Gratin. I’ve never had Potatoes Au Gratin for breakfast. This was a nice treat because I love them.

Skillet Omelet

The Skillet Omelet was full of flavor. The omelet is baked frittata-style which means the omelet is baked and served in a cast iron skillet. Bonefish’s omelet is served with fresh spinach, gorgonzola cheese, and turkey sausage. All of these ingredients work very well and make for a delicious breakfast.

Vanilla Greek Yogurt Parfait

For a little bit of sweet tastiness to top of the breakfast, we had the Vanilla Greek Yogurt Parfait. This was a delicious and light treat and the best way to top off a breakfast. It was packed with fresh cut strawberries, blueberries and granola. All of this was layered throughout some very delicious Greek Yogurt.

Bubbles With Brunch

What’s brunch without a little citrus filled bubbly? Bonefish doesn’t disappoint. They offer a Peach Bellini, and a Passionfruit Mimosa. If you want something to drink with breakfast, Bonefish also offers a traditional mimosa and an outstanding Bloody Mary.

Wrapping Up Brunch

If you find yourself driving down Gage Boulevard on a late Sunday morning, Bonefish is a great place to stop for brunch. Mike Ryan and the rest of the Bonefish crew will take excellent care of you for brunch.
